"I remember drawing on the tile floor underneath the computer desk at age 4. I felt bad and tried to convince my mom to use a sheet of printer paper as a rug on top of the crayon. I quickly learned I should draw on paper instead. But now I can draw on the walls whenever I want."
Blake grew up in rural North Carolina, taking as many art and music classes that his grade schools would allow. After moving to Chicago, he started to work in digital mediums, but still likes to paint and draw with charcoal as well. He loves cartooning, illustration, and graphic design and plans to make it a full-time career whether it be through designing his own products or working in-house.
Blake makes fun stickers, logos, and iconography. His other work often portrays stories and perspectives of the transgender community. He finds it important to discuss mental health and interpersonal relationships.
